Driving Directions

From Sweet Springs at I-70, take Highway 127 north 1 mile, then Route ZZ east 6.50 miles to the area.


This area contains old fields, cropland, forest, and some grasslands.

Hiking  No designated trails 
Hunting-Deer Good population. Deer regulations are subject to annual changes. Please refer to the Fall Deer and Turkey Booklet for current regulations.  
Hunting-Dove Fair population.  
Hunting-Quail Fair population. Blind Pony Lake is a quail emphasis area where managing the area for early successional species such as Bobwhite Quail is a priority.  
Hunting-Rabbit Fair population. Scattered brush piles and feathered field edges offer good conditions for rabbits.  
Hunting-Squirrel Good population.  
Hunting-Turkey Fair population. Turkey regulations are subject to annual changes. Please refer to the Spring Turkey or Fall Deer and Turkey Booklet for current regulations.  
Hunting-Waterfowl-Open Hunting Good population. No late season light goose hunting allowed.
