Driving Directions

Exit I-44 at Allenton Six Flags Road and go south; on Main Street turn east, then on Brown Road go south to Huntersford and continue to the Meramec River.


This area offers access to the Meramec River. There is a boat ramp.

About This Area

Allenton Access is located on the Meramec River 3.80 river miles up-river from the junction with the Big River and 6.90 river miles down-river from Pacific Palisades Access.  The area was acquired in 1968 to provide better public access to the Meramec River.  The area has a small amount of bottomland forest on it.
