La Plata City Lake


The City of La Plata has established boat user fees of $2.00/day or $25.00/year for those using boats on the lake. Daily fees can be paid at the lake. Annual fees can be paid at City Hall.

Driving Directions

From La Plata, take Highway 156 east 2.50 miles, then Leopard Ave. south 0.50 mile to the entrance road.


There is a boat ramp and a courtesy dock at the lake. The City of La Plata allows hunting on the lake and adjacent city property. Contact LaPlata City Hall for further information.
