  • Bank fishing access is available on management lands at various locations around the lake.

Bird Watching  Lake attracts several waterfowl species, pelicans, bald eagles annually. Woodland and glade associated birds are present. Get the Audubon Society of Missouri Conservation Area Bird List.  
Camping - Individual Campsites  Camping is allowed on Corps Of Engineers Campgrounds only - no camping on MDC licensed portions. 
Canoeing  Pomme de Terre Lake.  
Fishing - Bass Good population.  
Fishing - Catfish Good population.  
Fishing - Crappie Good population.  
Fishing - Other Good population. Muskie fishing is a popular and challenging sport on this lake. The lake supports an excellent muskie population, with fish up to 48 inches in length. Fall is the prime time for muskie fishing. 
Fishing - Other Good population. The lake supports a growing walleye population. Walleye and white bass fishing is good in the lake year-round, and seasonal (March - April) fishing opportunities are available for both species in tributary streams.

Horseback Riding  Multi-use trailhead at Bolivar access, open to horseback riding, hiking, bicycling 
Hunting-Deer Good population. Deer regulations are subject to annual changes. Please refer to the Fall Deer and Turkey Booklet for current regulations.

Hunting-Quail Fair population.
