Driving Directions

At the junction of County Road 301 and Levee Junction southeast of Highway 62 near Bird's Point.


This is a forested area with a fishable lake and a boat ramp within one mile of the Mississippi River.

(Population Definition)
Bird Watching  Good population of species, although being a small area, opportunity is limited and unpredictable. Get the Audubon Society of Missouri Conservation Area Bird List.  
Camping - Individual Campsites  Camping is allowed at the parking lot.  
Canoeing  This is a good place to canoe on a small lake. 
Fishing - Bass Fair population.  
Fishing - Catfish Good population.  
Fishing - Crappie Good population. Fishing can be especially good after the Mississippi River floods the lake, then recedes. 
Fishing - Other Good population. Carp, Buffalo. 
Fishing - Sunfish Fair population.
