About This Area

Fellows Lake is a water supply reservoir owned by Springfield City Utilities.

It was created in 1955 by impounding a portion of the Little Sac River.

In 1991, a Community Assistance Program (CAP) agreement was signed with MDC to manage the fishery and provide further fishing opportunities to Missouri citizens.

Waterfowl hunting opportunities are also available.
