From DeWitt, take Highway 41 south 1 mile to area entrance.


This area contains forest, wetlands, cropland, and old fields.

About This Area

This area was donated to the Conservation Department in 1989 by Joseph J. McKinny in memory of his parents, William W. and Anna McKinny. The area is on the edge of the Missouri River bottom. One-third of the area consists of Missouri River bluff. The bottom ground is a combination of forested and open wetlands.
